Kerry Smith is a founding member of Babes With Blades, performing in great number of our productions, including Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, workshops and benefits. Her training began at seven with homemade wooden light sabers, continuing at Columbia College with SAFD Fight Master David Woolley and briefly with Chicago Stunt Team. Kerry has trained in many weapons, but her expertise lies in hand-to-hand fighting, gymnastic moves, and preparing costumes and props, such as tear-away clothing and braces headgear, to safely fight in (earning her the nickname Crafty Babe). As an actress, Kerry has a wide range of stage and film experience, in Chicago, Massachusetts and Atlanta, where she now makes her home. She is a Certified Rolf® Practitioner and is building a private practice, while contributing what she can to the Babes from afar. Email Kerry
