A group of ten fighters, with their noodles in tow,
Showed up in a blizzard to put on a fight show.
At stake was the prize that they all longed to claim
A Champion's Belt that sets eyeballs aflame.

Judges Gilbert and Woolley gave the swords a review
(Woolley managed to do so while retaining his brew.)
First up was a melee, in which everyone scrapped
Two fighters were proven especially apt.
Jeff Lisse and Joe Albright proved an old adage true --
Swordfighting is something a caveman could do.
In the end, Joe dispatched all opponents with grace
Thus earning the mark of artistic first place.
Now came the test each single fighter must meet
With only a noodle between them and defeat
Fire-crowned Bren covered plenty of floor
But Joe proved the quicker and showed Brenda the door
Chris and MA locked their swords in a cross
MA got the win, proving she was the boss
Lady Katherine was fearless; her tattoos had spice
How was she to know of Brad's cloaking device?
Kevin H. gave a speech ere taking stance to begin
Mr. Larson replied, thumping back, head and chin.
Leland Burbank, crouched poet of Styrofoam doom
Wove Joe Albright's defeat on a best-of-three loom.
Amy's pants were stout-buckled; her swordhand held grace
But neither could conquer MA's scary face.

Then Larson and Leland squared off for their bout
Leaving Larson face down on the stage in a rout
Burbank and MA faced off for the champion's guise
MA fought hard, but Leland took home the prize.
All in all it was splendid, a Babes' claim to fame

Be assured that the next year will bring more of the same.
