Beth Cummings
(Associate Artistic Director) Beth’s love of violence started on the playground when her third grade teacher threatened to suspend her for giving the boys a taste of their own medicine. Thanks to Paul Steger (SAFD Fight Master) and Ian Borden (SAFD Certified Teacher) for introducing her to the wonderful world of stage combat and to the Babes for continuingly teaching her something new and violent. Beth is a freelance director and has had the pleasure to work with companies such as Stockyards Theatre Project, Bailiwick Repertory, Women's Theatre Alliance, Citadel Theatre and Keyhole Theatre Company. Some of her favorite directing roles include "Lysistrata", "Pathological", "Something Borrowed Something Blue", "Boiling People in My Coffee" and "Dentity Crisis". And FYI: Beth is a Pisces, so try to keep in mind she really is just a lovable ball of contradiction with a healthy dose of paranoia (okay, more than a healthy dose, but at least she understands this and is working on it in her copious free time.)Email
